Introduction to Pilates classes

These courses are compulsory for all new clients to the studio (other than clients who wish to join an antenatal class). From January 2011 these classes will run on a drop-in basis - you pay for the classes in advance and can book yourself in to days/times that suit you:

  • 4-class courses
  • classes every week in evenings or weekend
  • small class sizes
  • perfect if you haven't done Pilates before and would like to try it and check out the studio
  • suitable for clients with back pain or minor injuries. Small class sizes (maximum of 8) will ensure you are well taken care of
  • cover the basics of alignment, breathing and centering as well as a number of beginners Pilates exercises
  • Once you have completed the entire course it will either be possible to join a beginners or improvers level matwork course

Date and time: These courses run every week either on Saturday or in the evenings after 8 p.m. The 2011 schedule will be posted soon.

It is necessary to complete the entire 4 classes in order to move onto another class.

Cost: From January, you can try your first class for free. Then it is £40 for the remaining 3 classes. Payable in advance by cash, bank transfer or paypal (we do not accept cheques or credit/debit cards).

Level: complete beginners
